Daniel J. Mack is  a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist  and CEO of Mack Mortgage & Financial Group, Inc., a Minneapolis-based mortgage planning firm  dedicated to helping clients successfully manage their home equity to increase liquidity, safety, rate of return, and tax deductions.  The role of a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist is to help clients integrate the loan that they select into their over-all long and short-term financial and investment plan to help minimize taxes, improve cash flow and minimize interest expense.

Dan began his mortgage career in 1978 as a loan officer and was soon successfully opening and managing high-volume mortgage branches. Success at the branch level led to opportunities for him to manage large multi-state regions for national companies where he helped contribute billions of dollars in mortgage originations to the operations he managed.

Dan's career history includes serving as regional manager and vice president of First Bank Systems and Cendant Mortgage. In these roles, he was responsible for the growth of mortgage originations.

Dan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from St. Ambrose University. Dan currently resides in Minneapolis with his wife, Maureen. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and outdoor activities, including biking, hiking and running.
